8 Products Every Makeup Artist Needs to Prep Like an Esty!
Makeup Artists here are some helpful products to get you prepping your clients like an Esthetician. Little did you know that I got my start in the beauty industry as a Makeup artist. I've worked on movies, very notable clients, and at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, in New York. Makeup is still very dear and close to my heart, but I don't do it as much as I'd like since putting all my energies in Kimeera Spa. I watch Makeup Artists and Youtubers jump past the very most important part of makeup all the time... The SKIN. In school, my teacher would always repeat this phrase to us, "You can't polish a turd!" It's funny but I take this saying with me everywhere and apply it to everything. This same concept applies to makeup. If you start with crappy skin you're gonna end with crappy skin, so its best to put in the work so you can start with a clean canvas. I ordered these products in order of application in order to get the correct results. Follow these steps or add them to your existing prep routine to get the best out of your client and model.
